My workout regime has gone from 5 times a week to maybe one or two.
Prior to being pregnant, the ONLY reason I would not workout is if I had
to work late or was going to happy hour. Then I got pregnant...
I did pretty well for the first 6 months. As my belly got bigger, my
runs got slower and less frequent. Then I was on bedrest the last month
of my pregnancy. Then little E arrived...
Late nights, early mornings, little sleep and my obsession with my new
bundle of joy put working out on the BOTTOM of my list. Once I realized I
needed to go back to work soon and NO clothes fit, I snapped back into
reality.
I went on Weight Watchers and made an effort to workout more, even if it
was running with he jogger stroller. Luckily the weight came off ...
Give or take those last 5-8 lbs.
Now little E is almost 1 and I am back in a rut. She is going through a
mama's girl phase and there is no time once I get home from work, make
dinner, put E to bed, etc. I know all you mom's know exactly what I
mean.
However, I vow to do my best to workout when I can BUT first and
foremost is my family. Sitting down for a nice family dinner, pushing E
in her wagon or just playing around the house is my #1 priority.
Working out will happen... at least that is what I tell myself :)

Thanksgving Tutu Giveaway
This year I am especially thankful for my family and friends. There are so many people in my life that hold a special place in my heart, but one holds an extra special place. My mom mom has always been such an important person in my life. I strive to be as loving, kind and assertive as she has always been. She would drop anything if I ever needed anything and always puts other people first. I am so lucky to have her in my life.
So I decided to do a Thanksgiving giveaway of a beautiful Belle Tutu. My grandmother's name is Belle :)

All you have to do to enter is follow my blog and comment on this post what you are thankful for this year. Please feel free to tweet, blog or facebook about this giveaway as well for extra entries. Please leave a separate comment for every entry. Ends Thanksgiving Day at 11pm EST.
I hope everyone has a safe, happy and healthy Thanksgiving. Gobble gobble :)

Featured Vendor: Monkey Toes
Monkey Toes is such an amazing vendor that sells the cutest shoes for children that are fun and unique. I met Jenny of Monkey Toes on twitter and have been in love with her exciting personality and great products ever since then. I already have the ladybug ones for baby L.
Here are some of my fav products currently at Monkey Toes:
Q&A with Jenny:
Why did you decide to start your own business?
I always knew I wanted to run my own business – I just didn’t know what it would be. Monkey Toes came to me after taking painting classes with friends (before having children). I saw an idea for painting on shoes and decided to develop my own designs and voila – Monkey Toes was born.
What exactly does Monkey Toes entail?
Monkey Toes are children’s shoes created to look like characters, bugs, and animals. Our shoes have been caught in magazines on many celebrity children and have gained a lot of notoriety when they were seen on the Oprah show when she was touring Tom Cruise’s Telluride home.
I’ve been working on a licensing agreement with a manufacturer and distributor over the past year and a half, which just launched our new look and line. We’ll be branching into more than just footwear for 2012 – which I am completely excited about!
What advice do you give to other female entrepreneurs?
Persistence is key. If you truly love what you’re doing your business won’t feel like work. And trust me – entrepreneurship is a long term thing – not instant gratification. I still have days where I question everything I’m doing, but when that negativity wears off I still believe in myself and my product.
What are 3 things people don't know about you?
1) I’m starting to think I am a serial entrepreneur. I absolutely love starting businesses and I just launched a new one (with a partner this time) called Sugar Loco (www.sugarloco.com)
2) I’m a former Hooter’s Girl
3) I don’t like things in the same place all the time. I am constantly moving things around in my house – even candy in a dish – I will move candy to a new dish or tray or move it to a different room – several times a week. My husband totally believes I am crazy.
Thank you so much Jenny!!

Exciting News!!!!
I have been so excited to share the news that my husband and I are expecting our first baby! I am 14 weeks now and feeling great. This is such an existing time for us and for our whole family, especially since this is the first grandchild on both sides of our families.
I will be starting a new baby blog called "Diva Baby L" shortly. I know there are so many other moms out there I talk with, so I am looking forward to all the questions I will have and their wonderful opinions and advice!
SO EXCITED!!!!
