BABY BABY BABY

So I have been married about 6 months and YES my husband and I will both be 30 next year! I am starting to feel like somehow everyday, me having a baby comes up. However, we have a lot going on right now. TRUST ME we will have kids soon. I struggle with the idea that I sometimes work 60 hour weeks. I know it will all work out but it is a lot of stress.

To put things into perspective to everyone, on Saturday I told my sister I would buy her something at the craft show for helping me out. This was her response, "you can thank me with a neice or nephew!" My grandmom then followed up with,"Yes that sounds good".

Also, don't ever promise your dad during the father-daughter dance at your wedding that your will have kids next year! TRUST ME they remember!

I do realize that no time is a good time, so it will happen soon. Until then...everyone must remain in suspense :)

Feeling so BLAH!

Recently, I have been so busy working, I have not had the time to dedicate to working out, preparing healthy meals, keeping my house clean, and relaxing! I FEEL SO BLAH!! I know part of it is my fault because I am constantly on the go! Just this weekend I managed to make some new jewelry and Diva bands Friday, do an art show all day Saturday, bachelorette party Saturday night, mud run Sunday morning, lunch with friends, fix sewing machine with mom mom...the list continues. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed everything I did this weekend and wouldn't change a thing. I have such great friends and anytime I can celebrate them getting married or just have fun running in mud, I am not going to pass up those memories.

I am not sure if a little part of me feels like I might as well pack everything in now since I know it is a lot harder to find time once you have kids. OR if I just truly cherish life and seize every opportunity. Either way...sometimes I just need to force myself to slow down.

Only in my dreams...

If I had money, I would quit my job and open up a little Boutique. I know this is a dream that will not happen anytime soon, but a girl can dream. I love making jewelry and dabbling in new products. Just recently I started making little kids barrettes, headbands, Swarovski flip flops and much more.

The thought of decorating a little boutique of all my unique handmade gifts honestly puts a huge smile on my face. Putting up flowers in the front window and decorating for the holidays.

I truly admire people who take the plunge and invest in their dream. I would love to hear people's inspirational stories of how they achieved their dream!!

When life gives you lemons, twist some of the peel into a martini!

Things have been so crazy recently. My dad found out he has cancer, my grandmom was sick, my husband is getting his CPA, we are getting a new bathroom in our house, my best friend got engaged, weddings, babies, my parents 30th anniversary/ grandparents 60th, swamped at work, in-laws are moving to the beach, jewelry shows, jewelry classes....the list never ends! BUT...

I still managed to feel lucky, which is probably because I have such great friends and family. I do not claim to be a die hard Catholic but my prayers recently have been answered (for the most part). I look at someone like my mom who always keeps her head up high! She has had to deal with so much recently but still manages to smile. My husband studies 80% of everyday, yet still has fun!

So I ask everyone this question, when life gives you lemons, what do you do with them?
